gulliver, the cute
sᴡᴇᴇᴛ
Gulliver is a sweet viscet in more than just one way. First, he is cute and adorable and one of those characters, that you just wish to smooch and cuddle all day long - And you would really need to have a heart made of solid stone to be able to resist his puppy eyes looking up at you behind his shaggy mane, if he wants something. He also seems to giggle a whole lot and even though he is slowly becoming an adult, his giggles still make him sound like a little kid and many grown up viscets "aww" at him, when they hear him giggle and have a hard time taking him serious. And second; he has a sweet tooth like probably no one else. He literally could eat sweet stuff all day long, his favourite being lemon cake with loads of heavy cream.
ʟᴏᴠᴀʙʟᴇ
His whole personality makes of him a huge ball of sunshine and rainbows. He appears so sweet and child-like towards other viscets, that only few could possibly claim to hate him. He seems to have not a single bad bone in his body and everybody who has ever met him, would agree with this. He is the person that would help you in any way he can and being happy as long as he can make others happy.
sᴇʟꜰʟᴇss
Gulliver rarely ever thinks about himself first, not even when it comes to sweets, although lemon cake is were he would draw the line. But besides that, he would never dare to place his own happiness first, but rather make sure that his family and friends have everything to make them happy, before he would start thinking about his own needs. If he were to find someone freezing in the cold, he would offer them his jacket without a second thought, even though he now had to face the cold. He would give you almost everything, because in his opinion others deserve stuff more than him. Sadly, there are others who use his kind heart to their advantage.
ʜᴀᴘᴘʏ
A rainy day, a thunderstorm, a mishap - whatever it possibly could be, it will probably not pull him down. Gulliver surely can be considered happiness in person, as it is practically impossible to make him stop smiling and looking at the world from the bright side. Whatever it is, he will always find the good in anything and he will always face even the greatest difficulties with a positive attitute.
ᴅʀᴇᴀᴍʏ
Gulliver loves daydreaming probably more than anything else... well, besides lemoncake, at least. He loves sitting under a sunny or starry sky and dreaming about many different things like being on a great adventure, battling a furious beast or just baking and eating the biggest lemoncake that has ever been made. It is not on rare occassion that his thoughts suddenly trift off into the sky and he finds himself somewhere else, but nowhere near reality, and others often have a hard time to bring his attention back to the actual world. His dreamy side, although, has also an advantage: thanks to his numerous daydreams, Gulliver has become very creative and imaginative, which he shows not only in his occassional white lies, but also in drawing, writing and especially when baking and decorating cakes and other goods.
ᴄʜɪʟᴅɪsʜ
Gulliver enjoys every moment of life and besides always smiling he is also almost always, if not daydreaming or baking, bouncing around, climbing, jumping, running - you name it. He loves to play not only with other Viscets, but he also always finds a way how to play on his own, if nobody else wants to join him. He loves playing pretent or hide-and-seek, chasing a ball or playing pranks and scaring his friends, family and neighbors. He is very easy to entertain, as he finds very few things not funny and loves watching kids movies and especially animations, such as classics like the Lion King or any Disney-fairytales, as well as TV-shows like Spongebob Squarepants, Fairly Odd Parents or Danny Phantom. Even though he is in his teenage years, mentally he is still a kid and clearly refuses to grow up but rather stick to seeing the world through the eyes of an innocent and excited child.
ᴏᴠᴇʀᴇxɪᴛᴇᴅ
As already mentioned, it is very easy to entertain gulliver and furthermore, it is also very easy to bring him to like something. Actually, Gulliver gets excited over things very easily, sometimes probably even a little too fast. Whenever he sees or gets something he likes, he will jump around and smile like a little kid on christmas day and should he see something new or interesting, good luck on getting him back onto the ground again. For example, should he find a beautiful flower or even just see a butterfly or a bee, or a little bird or just witness an amazing sunset - even if it was already the third or fourth time, Gulliver would act as if it was his first time ever seeing the thing and his parents would have a hard time getting his attention back.
ʀᴇsᴛʟᴇss
One problem - or so to say - with Gulliver is, that he rarely ever can sit still. Even when he is daydreaming, he often will walk around the neighborhood instead of sitting down in the park, and even when he is reading a book, you might rather find him walking around instead of sitting down. He is someone who appears to have the need to always be in motion, no matter what he is currently doing. Even when he is baking or eating, he will either walk around or fidget his feet or tail and even if he appears to be completely still - if you watch him closer you will notice that he flicks his ears or does some other small movements with his body. When he is forced to sit still he will get bored and he hardly ever can focus on one thing or task for a longer time. He always wants to run around or play or jump or do anything but just sit quietly.
ᴀᴅᴠᴇɴᴛᴜʀᴏᴜs
Gulliver does not only love to daydream about adventures, he also wants to live and experience them. He probably might never fight a real dragon or save a whole city from an evil sorcerer, but at least he can discover interesting things in his neighborhood, especially the forest, such as giant caves or even whole tunnel systems, old graveyards and abandoned houses. Or he will start searching for unicorns, jackalopes and fairies; discovering plants or rocks with faces or engravings on them or just discover new fairytales or interesting stories by strolling through the history and mystery section of the library. He also loves to play pretent, no matter if on his own or with his friends, where he will create his own adventures and then during dinner tell his parents all about the troll he fought or the criminal he caught before he could steal the king's treasure.
ɢᴜʟʟɪʙʟᴇ
If gulliver got something from his dad, it is probably the fact that he believes things way too fast. You could tell him crazy stories and not on rare occassion he would actually believe you, you could promise him whatever you like and he would trust you, that you actually keep that promise. And if you were to tell him that something, and even if it is just water that you colored with food coloring, can cure any illness in the world, he would believe you too. He just has such a sweet and innocent nature, that he hardly ever thinks twice about what someone just told him and, as soon as something does not sound too crazy, actually believes almost everything you tell him. Him being like this is probably also the reason, why he still believes in the monster in his cupboard, that his parents liked to frighten him with. Well, nomen est omen, as the saying goes and considering that the name Gulliver does indeed mean "gullible one" it is no surprise that he became that way.
